- 1 medium cabbage, shredded
- 1 small onion, minced
- 1/2 cup sweet pickle cubes
- 1 cup mayonnaise
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1/4 white vinegar
- 1 Tbsp salt
- 1 tsp celery seed or celery salt
- 1/4 tsp pepper
- leaf lettuce, pepper rings and pimento
Directions

1Combine first three ingredients in a large bowl.

2Set cabbage mixture aside.

3Combine mayonnaise, sugar, vinegar and seasoning, stir well.

4Pour over cabbage mixture, toss well, cover and refrigerate coleslaw several hours.

5Serve cole slaw in lettuce lined bowl and garnish with pepper rings and pimento if desired.
