- 1/2 c. (1/4 lb.) soft butter
- 1/2 c. firmly packed brown sugar
- 1/4 c. granulated sugar
- 1 egg
- 1/2 tsp. vanilla
- 1 c. all-purpose flour
- 1/2 tsp. each: salt and baking soda
- 1/2 c. each: granola and carob or chocolate covered raisins
Directions

1Cream butter and sugars until fluffy; beat in egg and vanilla. Mix flour, salt and soda.

2Gradually blend into creamed mixture. Stir in granola and raisins.

3Drop by heaping teaspoonfuls onto greased or nonstick baking sheets.

4Bake at 375° until golden brown, 10 to 12 minutes.

5Let stand a few minutes before removing to wire racks to complete cooling.

6Yields 3 dozen 2 1/2 to 3-inch cookies.
