- 4 to 6 chicken breast halves
- 2 to 3 stalks celery
- 2 to 3 carrots
- 1 can mushroom soup (10 3/4 oz.)
- 1 pkg. dry onion soup mix
- 1 to 1 1/2 c. Minute rice
Directions

1Place carrots, celery and a little water in crock-pot. Precook for about an hour on low setting (if you have time) before adding chicken.

2Place chicken on top of vegetables.

3Sprinkle onion soup mix on top of chicken, then add cream of mushroom soup and enough water to barely cover chicken.

4Total cooking time for chicken is 8 hours.

5One hour before chicken is ready, remove chicken carefully from crock-pot and stir in Minute rice.

6Put chicken back in crock-pot.
