Crock-Pot Dressing

Ingredients

  • 1 medium chicken, boiled
  • 1 large skillet cornbread
  • 2 sticks margarine
  • 2 c. celery, chopped
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 2 c. chopped onions
  • 2 eggs, well beaten
  • 1/2 tsp. black pepper
  • 2 to 3 c. chicken broth
  • 1 tsp. poultry seasoning
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 3 Tbsp. sage or less
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup

Directions

    Saute onion and celery in margarine.

    Mix all ingredients. Add chicken last.

    Mix well.

    Put into greased crock-pot.

    Cook on high 45 minutes, then cook on low for 4 hours.

    Stir twice during cooking.
