- 1 (8-inch) pan cooked cornbread
- 8 slices day old bread
- 4 eggs
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. black pepper
- 1/2 c. chopped celery
- 2 cans cream of chicken soup
- 1 1/2 Tbsp. sage or to taste
- 2 cans chicken broth
- 2 Tbsp. margarine
Directions

1Break up breads.

2Mix everything together, except margarine. Pour into crock-pot and dot top with margarine.

3Cover and cook on low for 4 hours or on high for 2 hours.

4Makes 16 servings. Cook chicken and use the broth from it instead of canned broth.
