- stew meat
- carrots
- 1 (16 oz.) can tomato sauce
- 1 can water
- garlic (to taste)
- onion (cook with meat)
- 3 cloves
- 1 bay leaf
- 1 can stewed tomatoes
- 1 tsp. sugar
- potatoes
Directions

1Brown meat with onions in a skillet.

2Place in crock-pot (low) with all other ingredients except potatoes.

3Cook 3 hours (up to 6 hours on low).

4Add potatoes approximately 45 minutes prior to being served.

5To thicken, add a little flour and water (in a shaker mix) to mixture.

6The longer you can let simmer, the better. (Don't forget the corn bread!)
