- 1 c. margarine, melted
- 1 c. chopped onion
- 2 c. celery
- 8 oz. can mushrooms
- 12 c. dry bread crumbs (croutons)
- 1 tsp. poultry seasoning
- 1 1/2 tsp. salt and sage
- 1 tsp. thyme
- 1/2 tsp. pepper
- 2 eggs, well beaten
- 3 1/2 to 4 1/2 c. chicken broth
Directions

1Mix butter, onion and celery and saute.

2Add mushrooms, spices and broth.

3Add some of the hot liquid to egg while stirring, then add to broth.

4Mix hot liquid into bread crumbs.

5Put into crock-pot and cook on high for 45 minutes, then on low for 4 hours.
