- 2 -3 lbs boneless beef chuck roast, cut into 1-inch cubes
- 12 cup flour
- 14 cup butter
- 1 onion, sliced
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 18 teaspoon pepper
- 1 garlic clove, minced
- 2 cups beer
- 14 cup flour
Directions

1Coat beef cubes with the 1/2 cup flour.

2Brown in melted butter.

3Drain off excess fat.

4In crockery pot, combine all browned meat with onion, salt, pepper, garlic and beer.

5Cover and cook on low 5-7 hours or all day until meat is tender.

6Turn crockery pot to high.

7Dissolve remaining 1/4 cup flour in small amount of water.

8Stir into meat mixture, cook on high 30-40 minutes.

9Serve with rice and salad for a complete meal.
