Crockpot Chicken Cacciatore

  • 1/4 teaspoons Onion Powder
  • 1/4 teaspoons Garlic Powder
  • 1/4 teaspoons Black Pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoons Salt
  • 28 ounces, weight Can Crushed Tomatoes
  • 6 ounces, weight Can Tomato Paste
  • 1/2 cups Warm Water
  • 1 bunch White Asparagus, Tips Removed, Chopped Diagonally
  • 1/4 teaspoons Crushed Red Pepper Flakes

    Season chicken with onion powder, garlic powder, black pepper, and salt.

    Put the chicken into your crockpot (I have a 6-quart and had to stack them a bit).

    Pour the crushed tomatoes, tomato paste, and warm water over the chicken.

    Put the lid on, set the crockpot to high and cook for 4 1/2 hours.

    When the timer beeps, remove the lid and stir in your white asparagus, followed by the red pepper flakes.
