Ingredients

  • 1 c. grated cheese
  • 1 1/2 c. mashed squash
  • 1 c. cracker crumbs
  • 2 Tbsp. parsley flakes
  • 1 small jar chopped pimento
  • 1 Tbsp. minced dried onion
  • 3 Tbsp. melted butter
  • 2 Tbsp. sugar
  • 1 c. scalded milk
  • dash of red pepper
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • salt and pepper to taste

Directions

    Cook squash in small amount of water and mash.

    Mix together all ingredients except milk.

    Heat milk to boiling point.

    Add mixture.

    Put in greased casserole and bake at 375° for 45 minutes in deep dish.
