- 2 cups flour, all-purpose sifted
- 2 cups brown sugar light, packed
- 1/2 cup margarine
- 1 each eggs well beaten
- 1/2 cup flour, all-purpose
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 3/4 cup milk
Directions

1Mix sifted flour, sugar and margarine until crumbly.

2Set aside 1/2 cup.

3To the remaining crumb mixture add remaining ingredients as given above.

4Beat well with mixer on low speed.

5Spread evenly in a greased 8 inch square pan.

6Unwrinkle reserved crumbs over top and bake at 350F (180C) for 35 to 40 minutes or until inserted toothpick comes out clean.

7Dust warm cake with powdered sugar before cutting.
