- 1 cup flour
- 12 cup margarine or 12 cup butter, softened
- 1 pinch salt
- 4 -5 tablespoons water
- jam
Directions

1Combine flour and salt.

2Add in margarine(or butter) and cut mixture with a pastry cutter until in small pea size peices.

3Stir in water until dough can be formed by kneeding.

4Roll out on a floured surface until 1/5 inch thick.

5Cut dough into large circles and place in greased cupcake pans; lightly press with finger to make slight depression.

6Spoon jam into each tart until about 2/3 full.

7Bake at 375 degrees Fahrenheit for 20 minutes or until edges of crust are slightly golden brown.

8Let tarts cool in pan for a minute.

9Remove tarts and place them on a cooling rack .

10Wait for tarts to cool completely.
