   Take out 1 1/2 cups for the topping.

   After crumbs for topping has been taken out, beat the

   eggs, cloves and buttermilk with the soda added, together with

    rest

    crumb mixture.

    Beat well, pour batter

    greased

    sprinkle the crumb topping over it.

    at 350° for 40 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean.
