Crumbly Peach Pie

  • 6 to 8 fresh peach halves
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1/4 c. flour
  • 1/8 tsp. nutmeg
  • 1/2 c. margarine
  • 1/4 c. water
  • 1 pie crust

Directions

    Mix sugar, flour and nutmeg together.

    Cut in butter. Sprinkle 1/2 of this mixture on bottom of crust.

    Arrange peaches on top, then cover with remaining mixture.

    Add water.

    Bake at 450° for 10 minutes, then at 350° for an additional 30 minutes.
