Ingredients

  • 1 stick (1/2 c.) butter or oleo
  • 2 eggs
  • 3/4 c. sugar
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 3/4 c. flour
  • 1/4 tsp. baking powder
  • 2 Tbsp. Hershey's cocoa
  • 1 pt. Marshmallow Creme or 2 c. miniature marshmallows
  • 1 (6 oz.) pkg. semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 c. peanut butter
  • 1 1/2 c. Rice Krispies

Directions

    Cream together butter or oleo, eggs, sugar and vanilla.

    Mix together flour, baking powder and cocoa.

    Add flour mixture to the egg mixture; mix well.

    Spread into greased 9 x 13-inch baking pan.

    Bake at 350° for 15 minutes.

    Remove from oven and spoon over top of mixture:

    1 pint of Marshmallow Creme or 2 cups miniature marshmallows; bake for 3 minutes more.

    Remove from oven.

    Melt chocolate chips and peanut butter.

    Stir in Rice Krispies.

    Spread over bars.

    Chill and cut into squares.
