  • 2 c. sugar
  • 2 c. cake flour, sifted
  • 1 c. Crisco
  • 6 eggs
  • 1 tsp. vanilla flavoring
  • 1 tsp. lemon flavoring

Directions

    Mix sugar, flour, Crisco and eggs in mixing bowl until it is creamy and smooth. Beat about 8 to 10 minutes. Add vanilla and lemon flavoring. Mix well, about 1 minute. Pour into a slightly greased angel food cake pan. Bake for 1 hour at 350°. If cake is not brown, bake about 10 minutes longer, until it is firm and brown.
