  • 1 teaspoon cornstarch
  • 34 lb flank steak, cut into 1/2 inch cubes
  • 12 grated lemon, zest of
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
  • 14 teaspoon Chinese five spice powder
  • 1 granny smith apple, cored and cut into 1/2 inch cubes
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 12 red bell pepper, cut into 1/2 inch dice
  • 12 green bell pepper, cut into 1/2 inch dice
  • 3 green onions, cut into 2-inch lengths

Directions

    Make the marinade: combine the soy sauce and cornstarch in a bowl; mix well.
