- 1/2 gal. softened ice cream
- 1 stick margarine
- 2 1/2 c. Rice Krispies
- 3/4 c. brown sugar
- 1 can flaked coconut
- 1 c. broken pecans
Directions

1Melt margarine at 300° in 13 x 9-inch pan for 10 minutes. Stir in brown sugar, Rice Krispies, coconut and pecans.

2Bake in oven for 30 minutes, stirring occasionally.

3Cool.

4Remove one-half of mixture.

5Spread evenly over bottom of pan.

6Spread one-half gallon of ice cream over mixture.

7Sprinkle the rest of mixture over ice cream.

8Freeze at least 2 hours.

9Serves 15 to 20 people.
