- 1 (6 oz.) pkg. dates
- 5 slices candied pineapple
- 1/2 lb. candied cherries
- 1/2 box raisins
- 2 c. chopped nuts
- 4 eggs
- 1 c. sugar
- 1 Tbsp. vanilla
Directions

1Chop the first 5 ingredients in a large bowl; set aside.

2Beat the eggs.

3Add sugar and vanilla.

4Pour over the fruit mixture. Pack in lined, well-greased angel food pan.

5Place a pan of water under cake the last 15 minutes.

6Bake at 300° for 1 hour and 45 minutes.
