- 12 cup butter
- 1 13 cups brown sugar, firmly packed
- 1 egg, beaten
- 12 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 14 cups flour, sifted
- 14 teaspoon salt
- 14 teaspoon baking soda
Directions

1Preheat oven to 350F.

2Blend butter, brown sugar, egg, & vanilla.

3Combine dry ingredients and blend with wet.

4Drop by teaspoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheet.

5Bake about 12 minutes.

6When done, remove immediately to wire rack.

7Cookies will be soft when baked but will wrinkle while cooling.
