  • 1 cup long grain white rice
  • 1/2 cup ghee
  • 16 oz crushed tomatoes
  • 1 large onion chopped
  • 3 carrots
  • 1 tbsp parsley flakes
  • 1 tsp dried sweet basil
  • 1 tsp ground cumin
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch
  • 1 tbsp water
  • 1 1/2 cup water

    Heat ghee

    Add rice

    Peel wash carrots chop about 1 inch long

    Add carrots

    Add onions

    Add water except tablespoon

    Mix tomatoes and sugar and spices together

    When liquid is almost gone add tomatoes

    Mix tablespoons of water and cornstarch together when water is almost gone add cornstarch solution let cook getting a brown crust on bottom drain off excess ghee

    Cook longer getting crust on rice enjoy
