- 300 ml soda cracker crumbs, rolled finely
- 125 ml margarine, melted
- 15 ml onion, finely chopped
- 50 ml green pepper, finely chopped
- 30 ml margarine
- 30 ml flour
- 2 ml salt
- 5 ml sugar
- 250 ml milk
- 1 (16 oz.) can whole kernel corn (liquid included)
- 2 eggs
Directions

1Preheat oven to 200°C.

2Combine crumbs and melted margarine. Save 125 ml crumb-margarine mixture for topping.

3Press crumbs evenly on sides and bottom of pie pan.

4Saute onion and green pepper in margarine.

5Blend in flour, salt and sugar.

6Slowly add milk; cook and stir until thickened.

7Mix in corn and eggs.

8Stir well.

9Pour corn mixture into crumb crust.

10Top with remaining crumbs.

11Bake 30 minutes or until a knife inserted (off center) comes out clean.
