  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 c. flour
  • 1 tsp. baking powder
  • 1 c. chopped nuts
  • 1 c. chopped dates
  • powdered sugar

    Beat sugar lightly into eggs.

    Do not overmix.

    Stir in vanilla.

    Add flour and baking powder; blend.

    Fold in nuts and dates.

    Spread evenly into a greased 8 x 8-inch or 9 x 9-inch pan. Bake at 325° for 30 minutes.
