- 1 c. unsalted butter, room temperature
- 1 c. sifted powdered sugar
- 2 1/2 c. sifted flour
- 3 Tbsp. finely minced crystallized ginger
- 1 1/2 tsp. ground ginger
- 1/4 tsp. salt
Directions

1Cream butter with powdered sugar.

2Add rest of ingredients and blend well.

3Form dough into cylinder 1 3/4 inches in diameter. Wrap in plastic wrap and refrigerate 2 hours or freeze for 45 minutes.

4Cut dough in 1/4-inch slices and bake on ungreased cookie sheets at 400° for 8 minutes.
