- 1 (3 to 3 1/2 lb.) fryer, cut up
- 2 Tbsp. salad oil
- 2 cloves garlic, chopped
- 1 large onion, chopped
- 1 large green pepper, chopped
- 1 (15 oz.) can tomato sauce or chopped tomatoes
- 4 small, thin skinned potatoes, in 1-inch chunks
- 3/4 tsp. dry oregano
- 3/4 tsp. dry cumin
- 3/4 c. dry white wine
- 1/2 c. raisins
- 1/2 c. pitted black olives
- 1 c. frozen peas
Directions

1Simmer chicken in oil 15 minutes. Remove. To pan, add garlic, onion and green pepper.

34 minutes. Add tomato sauce, potatoes, spices, wine, raisins and olives.

4Add chicken. Simmer about 35 minutes (until done). Stir in frozen peas. Cook until peas are done (2 to 3 minutes).
