- cucumbers to fill 3 qt. or 6 pt.
- 3 3/4 c. vinegar
- 3 c. sugar
- 2 Tbsp. salt (scant)
- 4 1/2 tsp. celery seed
- 3/4 tsp. mustard seed
- 4 1/2 tsp. turmeric
Directions

1Slice cucumbers or cut in strips and let stand overnight in hot water.

2Boil vinegar, sugar and spices for 5 minutes.

3Pour over sliced cucumbers that have been packed in jars.

4Seal. This makes 3 quarts or 6 pints.

5Vinegar can be reheated.
