- small cucumbers (3 1/2 inches or less)
- 1 c. coarse salt
- 1/2 gal. water
- 1 qt. cider vinegar
- 1 qt. water
- 2 Tbsp. mixed pickling spices
- 1 c. sugar
Directions

1Soak cucumbers in brine (salt and 1/2 gallon water) overnight. Drain and drop in boiling cider vinegar, 1 quart water, pickling spices and sugar.

2When cucumbers turn bright green, pack in cans. Cover with hot liquid and seal.
