- 4 qt. cucumbers
- 5 c. sugar
- 1/3 c. coarse medium salt
- 1 1/2 tsp. celery seed
- 6 medium onions
- 3 c. cider vinegar
- 1 1/2 tsp. turmeric
Directions

1Do not pare cucumbers; slice thin and add onions.

2Add salt. Cover with cracked ice and mix thoroughly.

3Let stand 2 hours. Drain well.

4Combine remaining ingredients.

5Pour over cucumber mixture; heat just to a boil.

6Seal in hot, sterilized jars.
