Ingredients

  • 4 or 5 cucumbers
  • 2 onions
  • 1/2 green pepper
  • 5 Tbsp. salt
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1/2 c. white vinegar
  • 1/4 c. water
  • 1/4 tsp. celery salt

Directions

    Slice cucumbers and onions and cover with water; add salt. Let stand for 3 hours or more.

    Drain and rinse.

    Mix vinegar, sugar, water and celery.

    Pour over cukes and let stand overnight in the refrigerator.

    Can be frozen.
