  • 1 (10 ounce) can green chilies or 6 fresh roasted green chilies, roasted and peeled
  • 8 medium onions
  • 8 cups vinegar
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 24 ripe peeled tomatoes
  • 2 tablespoons salt
  • 1 tablespoon cinnamon
  • 1 tablespoon clove
  • 1 tablespoon allspice
  • 1 tablespoon nutmeg
