- 3 lb. chicken, cut in pieces
- 2 Tbsp. Crisco or cooking oil
- 2 medium onions
- 2 Tbsp. paprika
- salt and pepper to taste
- parsley
- 2 c. milk
- 4 Tbsp. flour
Directions

1In a heavy saucepan, melt Crisco or oil.

2Chop medium large onions and add to oil.

3Saute until transparent.

4Add paprika. Makes a bright red color.

5Add chicken pieces with parsley to really cover chicken.

6Let stew 1 1/2 hours.

7Remove chicken and place in bowl.

8To juices of meat, add milk and flour.
-
9Mix well. Add the chicken back and cook on low for 5 minutes.

10Serve over mashed potatoes, egg noodles or rice.
