  • 1 pkg. (2-layer size) chocolate cake mix, any variety
  • 1 pkg. (4-serving size) JELL-O Chocolate Flavor Instant Pudding
  • 1-3/4 cups milk
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 pkg. (12 oz.) semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 container (16 oz.) ready-to-spread vanilla frosting

Directions

    Mix cake mix, pudding mix, milk and eggs in large bowl about 2 minutes or until well blended.

    Stir in chips.

    Spoon batter evenly into paper or foil-lined muffin pan, filling each cup about 2/3 full.

    Bake at 350F for 20 to 25 minutes or until toothpick inserted into the center of a cupcake comes out clean.

    Cool 10 minutes; remove from pans.

    Cool completely on wire racks.

    Spread tops of cupcakes with frosting.

    Insert blue candles into tops of 9 of the cupcakes.

    Arrange in the shape of a menorah, elevating the center cupcake for the shammus of the menorah.
