- 1 cup sugar
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 1 34 cups flour
- 3 teaspoons baking powder
- 18 teaspoon salt
- 12 cup milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla

1Cream shortening.

2Add the sugar gradually.

3Add beaten eggs.

4Mix and sift flour, baking powder and salt tegether.

5Add alternately with the milk to the first mixture.

6Add vanilla and mix well.

7Pour into greased cup cake pans.

8Bake in a hot oven (400 degrees F.) 15 to 20 minutes depending on your oven (or until golden brown).

9Cool.
