- 1 stick margarine or butter
- 5 oz. sugar
- 1 level Tbsp. syrup
- 6 oz. milk (room temperature)
- 8 oz. currants
Directions

1All ingredients are to be added one at a time and blended well.

2Pour into a greased and floured loaf pan.

3Bake at 375° for 35 minutes.

4Cover with foil and bake at 350° for 40 minutes.
