- 3 tsp. baking powder
- 1/4 c. butter
- 5.33 oz. can evaporated milk
- 1 egg
- 1/4 c. sugar
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 2/3 c. currants
- sugar
Directions

1Heat oven to 400°.

2Lightly spoon flour into measuring cup. In medium bowl, combine flour, sugar, baking powder and salt. Blend well.

3Using fork etc., cut butter until mixture is crumbly. Stir in currants.

4Combine milk and egg; add all at once, stirring just until moist.
