Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1 can (10 oz.) PLANTERS Cashews
  • 2 Tbsp. curry powder
  • 1/2 tsp. ground red pepper (cayenne)
  • 1/2 tsp. crushed red pepper
  • 1/4 cup BAKER'S ANGEL FLAKE Coconut

Directions

    Heat oven to 300 degrees F.

    Bring sugar and water to boil in small saucepan on medium-high heat; simmer on medium heat 4 to 5 min.

    or until sugar is dissolved and thickened to syrup-like consistency.

    Add nuts, seasonings and coconut; cook and stir 2 min.

    or until nuts are well coated.

    (Coated nuts will be saucy.)

    Remove from heat; spread onto baking sheet sprayed with cooking spray.

    Bake 20 min., turning nuts after 10 min.

    Cool completely.

    Serve or store in covered container.
