  • 1 large can peach halves, drained
  • 1 large can pineapple chunks, drained
  • 1 large can pear halves, drained
  • 1/2 c. toasted almonds
  • 1/3 c. margarine or butter
  • 3/4 c. dark brown sugar
  • 3 tsp. curry powder
  • red or green maraschino cherries

    Drain and dry fruit.

    Melt butter and stir in brown sugar and curry powder.

    Place mixed fruit in a long baking dish.

    Pour brown sugar mixture over fruit.

    Dot top with a few maraschino cherries for added color.

    Bake at 425° for 20 minutes.

    Serve hot.
