  • 1/3 c. butter or margarine
  • 2 tsp. curry powder
  • 1 (1 lb. 1 oz.) can peach halves, drained
  • 10 maraschino cherries
  • 1/2 c. brown sugar
  • 1 (1 lb.) can pineapple chunks with 1/4 c. syrup
  • 1 (1 lb.) can pear halves, drained

    Preheat oven to 325°.

    Melt butter in skillet.

    Add sugar and curry powder.

    Add pineapple and syrup to skillet.

    Mix and simmer until sugar is melted.

    Put fruits in a buttered shallow pan or baking dish (1 1/2-quart).

    Pour sauce over fruit.
