Curried Fruit Recipe

  • 1 lg. can mixed fruit (for salads)
  • 4 bananas, cut in lg. pcs
  • 1 sm. can pineapple chunks
  • 1/2 teaspoon curry pwdr
  • 1 sm. jar maraschino cherries
  • 1/2 c. brown sugar
  • 2 tbsp. cornstarch
  • 1/4 c. melted butter

Directions

    Drain fruit.

    Combine sugar, curry and cornstarch.

    Add in melted butter to fruit, then add in sugar mix.

    Mix all ingredients.

    Pour into a buttered casserole.

    Bake at 350 degrees for 40 min.

    Serve warm or possibly cool.

    Great with ham.
