- 29 ounces pears halves, undrained
- 13 cup butter or margarine
- 3/4 cup brown sugar, dark firmly packed
- 2 teaspoons curry powder
- 1 x sour cream
Directions

1Drain pear halves and reserve 13 cup of the liquid.

2Place pear halves in shallow, 1 1/2-quart, heat-resistant, non-metallic baking dish.

3In a small, heat-resistant, non-metallic bowl, melt butter or Stir in reserved pear liquid, brown sugar and curry powder to taste.

4Spread curry mixture over pears and heat, uncovered.

5Serve warm with dollops of sour cream, if desired.
