Curried Satay Puffs

Ingredients

  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 2 teaspoon curry powder
  • 250g minced beef Safeway 1 lb For $5.99 thru 02/09
  • 1 cup frozen peas, defrosted
  • 1 tomato, chopped Safeway 1 lb For $1.29 thru 02/09
  • 2 tablespoons KRAFT Smooth Peanut Butter
  • 3 sheets ready rolled puff pastry
  • 1 egg yolk, lightly beaten

Directions

    Heat a little oil in a frypan, cook onion and curry powder until onion is soft.

    Cook the beef until browned.

    Add peas, tomato and peanut butter and cook a further 3 minutes.

    Cut each sheet of pastry into four squares.

    Place heaped tablespoons of meat mixture onto pastry squares.

    Brush edges of pastry with egg and fold over to form a triangle.

    Pinch edges together to seal.

    Brush puffs with egg and bake at 210C for 20 - 25 minutes.

    Serve immediately.
