  • 1 clove garlic
  • 2 Tbsp. butter
  • 1 Tbsp. vegetable oil
  • 12 oz. large uncooked shell shrimp
  • 1 Tbsp. flour
  • 2 tsp. curry powder
  • 1 c. plain yogurt
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • cooked long grain rice (optional)
  • chopped parsley

    In a large skillet, heat butter and oil over moderate heat.

    Add the onion and saute until soft, about 5 minutes.
