- 1 1/2 lb. medium size shrimp
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. cornstarch
- 1/8 tsp. ground ginger
- 1/8 tsp. pepper
- 1/8 tsp. sugar
- 3 Tbsp. salad oil
- 3 Tbsp. minced onion
- 2 tsp. curry powder
Directions

1About 35 minutes before serving, shell and devein shrimp.

2In small bowl, combine shrimp, salt, cornstarch, ginger, pepper and sugar.

3In a 10-inch skillet over medium heat in hot salad oil, cook onion until tender, but not brown.

4Stir in curry powder. Cook 1 minute.

5Turn heat to high and add shrimp mixture.

6Cook just until shrimp turn pink and are tender.

7Serve with cocktail picks.

8Makes 8 appetizer servings.
