  • 4 sheets frozen pastry dough, thawed
  • 425 g tuna, drained & flaked
  • 1 cup cooked rice
  • 1 cup frozen peas
  • 13 cup spring onion, chopped
  • 12 cup celery, finely chopped
  • 3 hard-boiled eggs, chopped
  • 12 cup cottage cheese
  • 2 teaspoons curry powder
  • 12 teaspoon garam masala
  • beaten egg, for glaze

Directions

    Using 2 sheets of pastry, line a lightly greased 28cm x 18cm slice tin.

    Combine remaining ingredients and spoon into pastry-lined tin, pressing down well.

    Using remaining pastry, cover the filling, trim edges and crimp.

    Use the pastry scraps to decorate the top.

    Glaze & cut a vent in pastry top.

    Bake in a moderate oven for 35 mins or until golden brown.

    Can be served hot or cold.
