Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup vegetable oil
  • 5.5 oz popping corn
  • 4 oz pretzels, broken into pieces if large
  • 4 oz golden raisins
  • 1 oz sunflower seeds
  • 2 tsp sea salt
  • 1/2 tsp ground cumin
  • 1/2 tsp mild curry powder

    Heat the oil in a large lidded pan over medium heat, until a piece of corn sizzles as soon as it is added.

    Add the corn to the pan and cover with a tight-fitting lid. Heat until the popping ceases, shaking the pan occasionally. Remove from heat.

    Add the remaining ingredients to the warm popcorn. Cover and shake well to combine, then season to taste. Transfer to a tray to cool. Scoop into small bags and tie with ribbons to seal.
