- 2 Tbsp. butter
- 1 1/3 c. cornmeal
- 1/3 c. all-purpose flour
- 1/4 c. sugar
- 1 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. baking powder
- 2 eggs
- 2 c. milk, divided
- 1 c. buttermilk
Directions

1Preheat oven to 400°.

2Place butter in a 9-inch skillet and heat in the oven.

3Place dry ingredients into a large bowl.

4Add eggs, one cup of milk and buttermilk and mix.

5Pour into hot skillet.

6Very slowly, pour last cup of milk over the top of the batter.

7Do not stir.

8Bake for 50 to 55 minutes.
