- 3 Tbsp. butter, melted
- 3 Tbsp. sugar
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 2 c. milk
- 1 1/2 Tbsp. white vinegar
- 1 c. flour
- 3/4 c. cornmeal
- 1 tsp. baking powder
- 1/2 tsp. soda
- 1 c. whipping cream
Directions

1Butter an 8-inch square baking dish.

2Put buttered dish in preheated oven at 350° and let it get hot while you mix batter. Put eggs in mixing bowl and add melted butter.

3Beat until well blended.

4Add sugar, salt, milk and vinegar; beat well.

5Sift into a bowl the flour, cornmeal, baking powder and soda;

6add to egg mixture.

7Mix just until batter is smooth and no lumps appear.
