Ingredients

  • 2 c. sweet milk
  • 2 egg yolks, beaten
  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 2 egg whites, stiffly beaten
  • 1 tsp. vanilla

Directions

    Beat egg yolks.

    Combine with sugar and mix.

    Add to sweet milk.

    Cook over medium heat.

    When thickens (doesn't get real thick), remove from heat.

    Add vanilla and blend.

    Fold in lightly the stiffly beaten egg whites.

    Set aside to cool.

    In summer, chill in refrigerator.
