  • 2 3/4 c. whole milk, scalded
  • 4 eggs
  • 1/8 tsp. salt
  • 2/3 c. sugar
  • vanilla
  • nutmeg
  • unbaked pie shell

    Beat eggs slightly.

    Add sugar and salt, then add the scalded milk.

    Last, add the vanilla.

    Pour into a pie shell and sprinkle with nutmeg.

    Bake at 325° to 350° for about 45 minutes or until a table knife comes out clean.

    (Don't let the pie bubble.)
