  • 1 (9-inch) pastry shell (unbaked)
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 2 1/4 c. milk
  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • nutmeg

Directions

    Beat eggs slightly.

    Add sugar and mix well. Add milk and vanilla.

    Strain mixture as you pour it into unbaked pie shell. Sprinkle with nutmeg.

    Bake at 400° for about 40 minutes. Do not overbake or it will get watery.
